Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) emerged victorious in the highly acclaimed Penang Chief Minister Innovation Award competition held on Thursday, 02 Nov 2023.

This victory was made possible by their latest creation, the uLesen License Management System, developed by VeecoTech Solutions.

The uLesen License Management System has not only secured the grand prize but also a substantial reward of RM10,000. This remarkable achievement further solidifies VeecoTech’s reputation as a pioneer in digital solutions, driving change, and enhancing the lives of individuals and businesses alike.

The prestigious Penang Chief Minister Innovation Award, also known as the Anugerah Inovasi Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang (AIKMPP), recognises outstanding contributions to innovation and technological advancements within the state. The competition attracts numerous participants from various industries, all vying for the esteemed recognition.

Built on the latest technology, uLesen enables individuals and companies to apply for licenses and permits easily and securely, streamlining the entire process. The system’s efficient processing capabilities not only save time but also ensure the safety and security of the data and information processed.

In addition to winning the Penang Chief Minister Innovation Award, the uLesen system also clinched the top spot in the Penang State Government Innovation Award project (Anugerah Inovasi Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang, AIKNPP), earning an additional reward of RM5,000.

The collaboration between VeecoTech and Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP), the local government authority, played a crucial role in the development and success of uLesen.
